Subject: HIGH ALERT FROM USNA SECURITY DEPT.- NO HAND-DELIVERED PACKAGES TO
BANCROFT HALL!
Dear USNA Parent Club Presidents, Webmasters, Newsletter Editors and
Contacts:
Please be advised that the USNA Security Department has determined that NO
HAND-DELIVERED PACKAGES WILL BE DELIVERED TO BANCROFT HALL. This would
include packages arriving from local vendors such as bakery items, flowers,
grocery store orders, catering, gift baskets, etc. Only packages arriving
via RECOGNIZED CARRIERS such as U.S. Mail, Fed Ex or UPS will be accepted.
Because hand-delivered packages cannot be adequately inspected, the USNA
Security Department has determined that they will not be allowed for receipt
at the Bancroft Hall front desk area. As Parent Club Officers and Contacts,
please do your best to immediately alert all members of your club concerning
this new security development.
